My approach is to integrate all of the information derived from the testing process with my observations and interactions with your child. I specialize in both psychological and psychoeducational testing.
My practice also includes psychological testing for couples and prospective surrogates. I conduct an extensive interview and administer the psychological evaluations required by agencies as part of the adoption process. I have experience working with surrogates, local adoptions, and international adoptions.

Adoption Testing
As part of the adoption or home study process, most agencies require couples complete a personality evaluation as well as meet with a psychologist to determine psychological fitness to adopt. I am also able to conduct an interview and psychological evaluation of a prospective surrogate parent. The testing measures I use are the most recent, empirically validated evaluations required by agencies and used in the field.
Therapy
My specialty is working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorders, ADHD, and other emotional difficulties. My approach is eclectic. I use a combination of behavioral and psychodynamic techniques. Depending on the age of the child, behavioral work focuses on repeated practice of skills as well as establishing structure within the child’s environments (home, school), discovering intrinsic and extrinsic rewards, and working with families to establish effective behavior management systems.
