Autism and ABA
My passion throughout my career has always been working with children. I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from UCLA. During my time at UCLA, I was fortunate enough to work with Autism treatment pioneer, Dr. O. Ivar Lovaas. During my work with Dr. Lovaas, I received training in Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) and designed treatment programs for children with Autism.
I worked as the clinical director for several ABA agencies throughout Southern California including the Lovaas Institute and Patterns Behavioral Services.
Internships
At the California School of Professional Psychology (CSPP) in Los Angeles, I focused my training on working with children and adolescents. I worked with a variety of individuals and families at community mental health centers in the Greater Los Angeles area, including Santa Anita Family Services in El Monte and the Child and Family Center in Santa Clarita. During my time at these agencies, I received training in the assessment and treatment of children with a variety of emotional disturbances, developmental disabilities, educational difficulties, and common life experiences. I also led parenting classes and social skills groups. During the last year of my training, I worked at the Dorothy Kirby Center, a juvenile detention facility. At the Kirby Center, I provided individual and group therapy to incarcerated adolescents, as well as administered assessments.
Post-Graduate Experience
My post-graduate includes working with children with developmental delays, as well as developing and running social skills groups with children and adolescents. In addition, as a former Adjunct Faculty member at CSPP at Alliant International University, I taught graduate-level courses in Psychological Assessment.

I currently work as a developmental psychologist at Kaiser Permanente, providing psychological assessment and therapy to children with developmental and behavioral diagnoses.
